WT/SB Updates, Substack, & Edible glitter

New year. Same unpredictability.

With the economy shifting, the political landscape (still) roiling, and everyone's capacity feeling just slightly maxed, we’ve been paying close attention to how you’re showing up (and what you’re showing up for) in our current moment.

So instead of pushing for bigger, louder, more, we’re doubling down on what’s actually working — the formats, spaces, and rhythms you’ve told us feel most grounding and useful right now.

Here’s what’s changing (and what’s staying steady) for Weak Ties/Strong Bonds in 2026:

🍽️ Dinners are now every other month
They’ve remained our most-loved, most-attended event — so we’re spacing them out a bit to keep them intentional, intimate, and sustainable for everyone involved (you included).

💻 Free Work With Days are now every other week
You’ve told us these are a lifeline — a place to plug in, focus, and feel less alone. So we’re increasing the frequency of these fun, free co-working days. There's now one in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan every month.

🧭 We’re not scaling just to scale
We’d love to expand the community, launch new event types, and yes, eventually open the WT/SB retreat center of our dreams — but for now, we’re focused on deepening what’s already working. We’re building from the core: community, clarity, and meaningful connection.

📝 The newsletter archive is getting a home
We’ll be publishing these newsletters on our blog as well, so you can browse past editions, revisit old favorites, and share the ones that hit home. You’ll see more added regularly.

👥 Membership updates are coming
If you’re part of the WT/SB Membership, keep an eye out for a short survey — we’re rethinking Office Hours and want your input on how to make them more valuable, actionable, and worth showing up for.

💬 The online community is getting a refresh
We’re recommitting to making the WT/SB digital space a true hub for discussion, support, and behind-the-scenes honesty. More updates soon, but for now — consider this your invitation to post, reply, and make that space yours again.

Thank you for growing with us, building alongside us, and reminding us — over and over — what actually matters.

Here’s to steady hands in a shaky season.

🧣 This cold-weather scarf hack.

👏 That's what the fuck I'm talking about.

🙋‍♀️ Who wants to invest with me?

📚 I started listening to N.K. Jemison's Broken Earth Trilogy, while I was driving around TX, and haven't been able to stop now that I'm home.

🔥 I've reduced my reluctance to sit at my desk by +/- 30% with the addition of this little heater.

✨ We started adding edible glitter to food (fine, jello shots) on NYE. Now everything I eat has a sparkling bit of whimsy.

🍾 Champagne Problems was my runaway favorite of the cheesy holiday movies this year.

🤩 Jordan Chile's 2026 floor routine.
