Fall Success Prep, Miss Universe, & Mary Janes

Despite the fact that it's consistently 85° here in New York, Fall is quickly approaching. Whether you've had a relaxing, travel-filled summer or you've been pounding the proverbial pavement and have found yourself with an abundance of work, it's important to start thinking about the coming season. Here are some simple ways to set yourself up for success this Fall:

1. Review contracts - If you have any contracts that are coming up for renewal between now and the end of the year, this is a good time to look into them and start making note of all the great work you've done. That way when it comes time to discuss renewals, you have plenty of supporting info on hand to make the renewal a no-brainer for your clients.

2. Get ready for the holiday season - Big brands start thinking about holiday at the beginning of the year, but smaller brands generally don't have the bandwidth to plan that far in advance. Starting in September gives you a few months to craft strategic offers, discounts, and campaigns that will help you to reach your yearly sales and revenue goals.

3. Reconnect with your network - Reach out to old colleagues, clients, and partners that you haven't spoken with in a while. See how they're doing, what their needs for Q4 and Q1 2025 are, and discuss potential ways to work together.

4. Get your financials/bookkeeping organized - Avoid an end-of-year panic right at the moment when you want to be going to holiday parties and enjoying friends and loved ones. (If you need an accountant rec, just reply to this email. We've got a great one!)

5. Get your (digital) house in order - Review your website, social media, and branding to make sure it still aligns with your current products and offer. This is the perfect time to get new headshots that will help you to show up confidently online to promote yourself and your brand.
